Mangelnde Ausbildungsreife: Hemmnis bei der Lehrstellensuche von Jugendlichen mit Hauptschulabschluss?

Abstract

Bei der Lehrstellensuche von Hauptschülern zählen Lernmotivation, Arbeitstugenden und Sozialkompetenz mehr als Fachnoten. Die schulische Berufsorientierung trägt Früchte: Die Berufswünsche der meisten Hauptschüler sind konkret und realistisch. Ausschlaggebend ist der frühe und regelmäßige Kontakt zu Betrieben. Potenzielle Ausbilder sehen so nicht nur Defizite, sondern lernen Jugendliche mit ihren persönlichen Stärken kennen.
