Abstract

Evidenzbasierte Bildungspolitik benötigt umfassende Daten. Bildungsökonominnen und -ökonomen des Vereins für Socialpolitik fordern die Umsetzung eines Bildungsverlaufsregisters über alle Stufen formaler Bildung sowie den regelhaften Zugang der Forschung zu diesen Daten. International würde Deutschland mit einem derartig verknüpfbaren Bildungsverlaufsregister an die Standards anderer europäischer Staaten aufschließen und es ermöglichen, die komplexen Zusammenhänge der Bildungssysteme besser zu verstehen. Das Bildungsverlaufsregister sollte alle Ebenen der formalen Bildung abdecken und perspektivisch mit weiteren Datenquellen beispielsweise aus den Bereichen Arbeitsmarkt, Steuern und Gesundheit verknüpfbar sein, um auch langfristige Effekte von Bildung analysieren zu können.
