Belangenbehartiging in Nederlandse ondernemingen: verslag van een eerste inventarisatie

Abstract

Centraal in het denken over bestuursverantwoordelijkheid staat de vraag hoe de belangen van diverse bij de onderneming betrokken individuen en groepen dienen te worden afgewogen en behartigd. Uit diverse theorie-en kan men afleiden hoe dit proces van belangenbehartiging er uit kan zien. Of de theorie echter overeenkomt met de Nederlandse ondernemingspraktijk is nog maar de vraag. Jaarverslagen, rapporten en krantenartikelen zijn bronnen die daar enig inzicht in verschaffen maar woord en daad kunnen nogal eens verschillen. Daarom is aan twintig mannen en één vrouw gevraagd hoe zij denken over dit onderwerp en hoe zij er in hun eigen functie invulling aan geven. De resultaten van deze eerste inventarisatie van belangenbehartiging in de Nederlandse ondememingspraktijk worden in dit artikel weergegeven.
