Abstract

En este trabajo se describe la evoluci n de las cooperativas de cr dito en Argentina desde finales de 1880 hasta la actualidad. El an lisis presta particular atenci n a la influencia de factores pol ticos e institucionales. En t rminos m s espec ficos, muestra c mo reiterados cambios en el marco legal y regulatorio, inducidos por la profunda inestabilidad del contexto pol tico argentino, han afectado sustancialmente la dimensi n y la estructura del sistema de cooperativas de cr dito.
