Ethikkommissionen in den Sozialwissenschaften - Historische Entwicklungen und Internationale Kontroversen

Abstract

Ethik-Kommissionen übernehmen die Aufgabe, Forschungsvorhaben auf die Einhaltungforschungsethischer Grundsätze zu prüfen und verhandeln dabei auch Fragen derwissenschaftlichen Güte. Dieser Beitrag fokussiert auf die Entwicklung von Ethik-Kommissionen in der Medizin und den Sozialwissenschaften. Letztere sind imdeutschsprachigen Raum ein Phänomen jüngeren Datums und werden kontrovers diskutiert.In der internationalen Erfahrung gehen mit ethics reviews Standardisierungs- undRegulierungsprozesse einher, die dem Methodenpluralismus in den Sozialwissenschaftenzuwiderlaufen und aus einer Governance-Perspektive als eine Form der Wissensregulierunggedeutet werden können.
