Abstract

Sign of the economic dynamics of a region, the added value is a noticeable indicator to the drifts of situation. After the 1980's industrial crisis, how did it evolve in the Dunkirk area ? What are the present driving activities ? What is the position of Dunkirk on the regional and national level ? This paper brings answers to these questions and also deals with the way in which a part of the added value is redistributed as wages.
