Offre scolaire et arbitrage formation-distance : le cas des BEP en Midi-Pyrénées

Abstract

Le but de l'étude consiste à analyser le processus de choix du type de formation retenu par les élèves en confrontant en particulier leurs voeux tels qu'ils les hiérarchisent et la décision administrative finale d'affectation. Parmi les déterminants qui font qu'un élève va préférer poursuivre ses études dans tel ou tel établissement et dans tel ou tel type de filière, on cherchera à faire apparaître l'importance qu'accorde l'élève à la localisation de ces enseignements. Les questions théoriques afférentes à notre démarche relèvent de modèles de choix de lieu et de spécialité pour l'élève, de modèle de choix d'élèves pour l'établissement, du rôle de la distance.
