In Asian and Western countries, the economic and managerial aspects of Buddhism have become a subject of renewed interest and many studies. The book What Buddhism can bring to managers, written jointly by the 14th Dalai Lama and Laurens van den Muyzenberg, claims to present a comparative approach about Buddhist and capitalist concepts with regard to leadership and the corporate social responsibility, and it is also an effort to apply doctrines Buddhists in the managerial process.
