Health Information Exchange Among US Hospitals

Abstract

At the start of implementation of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, this article found that a minority of U.S. hospitals, 10.7 percent, exchange clinical data electronically with unaffiliated providers.
