The Arisotelian and the Cartesian principles of analytism and mecanism compose the cosmic paradigm. According to the latter, the intelligible phenomenon must be reductible, determinated, evident and simplifiable. By making the movement the key concept for comprehension and explanation, analytism generates the arithmetical and geometrical qualities of mecanism. By untying the cause from the effect, the causality appears not like a relation but a mecanical order such as the effect follows the cause along the time arrow. By separating the subject from the scientific object, analytism founds a science without conscience. Because of its reductionistic and simplistic character the cosmic paradigm is unsustainable to grasp the complex phenomena. We were brought to consider other principles of intelligibility that make up the chaosmic paradigm. They are principles both of distinction and conjuction, which take account of the scientist in the cognition process. (Full text in French)
