Comparativo Internacional para a Previdência Social

Abstract

Este texto compara os gastos previdenciários entre diversos países, considerando as condições sociais, demográficas e econômicas de cada um deles. Dessa forma o trabalho estabelece uma avaliação de tais gastos em relação às suas respectivas possibilidades estruturais. Utilizando-se a metodologia de análise envoltória de dados, constrói-se um indicador comparativo que contrasta os benefícios previdenciários concedidos com a capacidade econômico-financeira de concessão de cada país. Os resultados mostram que o Brasil encontra-se no topo do ranking entre os países nos quais o sistema previdenciário é superdimensionado.
