Working time arrangements in the Australian mining industry : trends and implications with particular reference to occupational health and safety

Abstract

Presents the major findings from the national survey into shift work and rostering arrangements conducted in February 2000. Covers trends from 1978 to 1998. Discusses the implications of these trends for working hours, occupational health and safety, family and community life, and industrial activity and trade unions.
