Abstract

"Mehr als jeder vierte Ausbildungsvertrag in Berlin und Brandenburg wurde im Jahr 2014 vor Ablauf der regulären Ausbildungszeit beendet. Hohe Quoten von vorzeitigen Lösungen von Ausbildungsverträgen sind ein wichtiger Hinweis auf partielle Fehlallokationen im dualen Ausbildungssystem. Bei genauer Betrachtung fällt auf, dass vorzeitige Vertragslösungen regional im hohen Maße ungleich verteilt sind. Sie häufen sich besonders dort, wo die Ausbildung stärker in Kleinbetrieben erfolgt, wo die Auszubildenden unterdurchschnittliche Schulabschlüsse besitzen und wo besonders viele Lehrlinge in Handwerks- und primären Dienstleistungsberufen ausgebildet werden. Vorzeitige Vertragslösungen sind aber nicht per se mit Ausbildungsabbrüchen gleichzusetzen. Vielmehr dienen sie häufig dazu, eingeschla-gene Bildungswege sowohl beruflich als auch betrieblich zu korrigieren. Zugleich sind damit aber nicht unerhebliche betriebliche Kosten verbunden. Daher gilt es, frühzeitig auf eine möglichst gute Passung von Ausbildungssuchenden und Ausbildungsbetrieben zu achten." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
