Abstract

"Die Schuldenkrise in Europa hat die deutsche Konjunktur im vergangenen Winterhalbjahr in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Im zweiten Quartal 2013 setzte aber eine kräftige Erholung ein, die Erwartungen für die weitere Entwicklung sind moderat positiv. Am Arbeitsmarkt konnte die Beschäftigung ihren Aufwärtstrend fortsetzen. Die Arbeitslosigkeit sinkt allerdings seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr nennenswert. Hier treten strukturelle Probleme mehr und mehr zu Tage. Die aktuelle IAB-Prognose zeigt, mit welcher Entwicklung bis zum Jahresende und im Jahr 2014 zu rechnen ist." (Autorenreferat, IAB-Doku)
