Factores Determinantes De La Distribución Personal De La Renta: Un Estudio Empírico A Partir Del Phogue

Abstract

. Este trabajo se centra en el estudio de la distribución personal de la renta en España desde una doble perspectiva. En primer lugar, se aborda la evolución de la distribución personal de la renta en España en la última década utilizando los datos del Panel de Hogares de la Unión Europea (PHOGUE). Metodológicamente se toman como unidades de análisis tanto los hogares (ajustando la renta por medio de diferentes escalas de equivalencia y analizando la sensibilidad de los resultados respecto a la escala de equivalencia elegida) como los individuos. En segundo lugar, nos centraremos en las distintas teorías sobre los factores condicionantes de la distribución personal de la renta. En particular, se analizará la distribución personal de la renta por cohortes de edad y se utilizarán modelos de datos de panel utilizando distintas variables explicativas.
