Análisis De La Distribución De La Renta A Partir De Funciones De Cuantiles: Robustez Y Sensibilidad De Los Resultados Frente A Escalas De Equivalencia

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es el estudio de la desigualdad en la distribución personal de la renta en España, utilizando diversas especificaciones probabilísticas de carácter paramétrico. Se proponen dos modelos robustos para modelizar datos de renta usando la función de cuantiles. Específicamente, se trabaja con los modelos gamma y beta de cuantiles. Para ello, se recurre a la información empírica contenida en el Panel de Hogares de la Unión Europea (PHOGUE). Asimismo, se analiza la sensibilidad de los resultados utilizando diferentes escalas de equivalencia.
