現代中国の教育収益率 : メタ分析

Abstract

本稿において筆者らは,既存研究85点から抽出した全1041推定結果のメタ分析による統合と比較を行うことにより,現代中国におけるミンサー型教育収益率の一般的効果サイズの推定を試みると共に,企業部門,戸籍,地域,ジェンダー及び推定期間の差異が,教育収益率に及ぼす影響を検証した。メタ分析の結果は,体制移行期を通じた中国教育収益率の偏相関係数で測定した効果サイズは,正に中位の水準に達していることを強く裏付けた。また,非国有部門,都市戸籍労働者,都市部及び女性の教育収益率は,国有部門,農村戸籍出稼ぎ労働者,農村部及び男性のそれを,統計的に有意に上回ることを示唆する分析結果も得られた。更に,中国の教育収益率は,時系列的に顕著な上昇傾向にあることも併せて判明した。これら一連のメタ分析結果は,改革開放期から現代に至る中国では,国民経済活動への市場原理の浸透と目覚ましい技術発展が,労働者の賃金水準に著しい影響を及ぼしていることを強く示唆している。
