Abstract

Ce texte propose une conception de la nature arbitraire de la décision en mobilisant la notion de convention. En développant une définition de la convention comme modèle d'évaluation, comme le fait l'approche de l'Economie des Conventions, il montre le rôle des représentations, en amont de la coordination, dans le processus de décision. Le travail d'interprétation du contexte que fait un décideur a besoin de telles conventions dont le fondement normatif atténue leur caractère arbitraire.
