Abstract

Extrait : "Alors que la question des petites lignes ferroviaires revient régulièrement dans l'actualité, il peut être intéressant de comparer la situation française à celle de ses voisins européens. L'étude qui suit propose d'analyser les offres ferroviaires en termes de fréquence et d'amplitude horaire dans six pays européens, dont la Suisse et les Pays-Bas, réputés pour leur grande densité de trafics, ainsi que l'Allemagne, la Grande-Bretagne et l'Italie pour leur proximité économique avec la France (voir encadré). Les résultats confirment que l'offre de la France est en retrait pour les « petites lignes ». Une doctrine fondée sur des critères transparents et partagés pourrait y remédier."
