Abstract

Educational potential of the training device: benefits on the autonomy of students ? The case of personalised support in the french vocational Baccalauréat in food technology The autonomisation of students has become an essential reference point for educational processes. Declared as a critical value, how can it become an operational educational approach's goal during a food industry vocational training? The article is based on a collaborative research within the framework of the « Rénovation de la Voie Professionnelle » (French Renovation of the Vocational Path) (2009). The challenge is to study the ways in which a device can be a mean to overcome the paradox often used to think about the process of autonomisation : how can autonomy be stimulated using heteronomous frameworks ? This study updates various processes of autonomisation through the ability for students to grasp and combine a plurality of milieus, each referring to different norms, of which the device is intentionally composed. Keywords: education by the ministry of agriculture, vocational baccalaureate, education policy, diploma creation - diploma updating, training content, pedagogy, educational science
