Abstract

Ce chapitre propose une présentation rapide de la Théorie de la Firme comme Entité fondée sur le Pouvoir (maintenant appelée TFEP). Cette approche économique "ouverte" de l'entreprise développée par Chassagnon part de l'idée que la recherche des fondements d'une nouvelle théorie de l'entreprise apparaît comme une véritable nécessité en matière de progrès explicatifs et de volonté de régulation. Notamment, les questions du pouvoir, de l'ontologie sociale et des responsabilités de la firme, qui n'ont jamais fait l'objet d'une grande attention de la part des économistes, occupent une place centrale dans la TFEP. Dans cette théorie progressiste de l'entreprise, le développement social de l'homme (l'individu dans son entièreté) dans un sous-système ouvert, émergent et en évolution constante (l'entreprise) prend tout son sens, et ce au profit d'une perspective sociétale prônant un nouveau compromis productif du capitalisme basé sur une vision de la firme comme bien commun et espace de démocratie.
