Abstract

This communication, based on the conceptualization of the hybridization of resources in the solidarity economy, highlights the different approaches that cross the social and solidarity economy. More specifically, this paper tries to analyze how the resources hybridization and the place of reciprocity are understood in these two different directions, social entrepreneurship and in the commons movement, as practices and conceptualizations. It appears that social entrepreneurship and some of the studies on associations neglect the role of reciprocity and overstate the role of the market despite a strong link with public policies. For the commons, reciprocity is crucial but the hybridization of resources is not stabilized ; however, there is an essential mobilization of market resources and the search for autonomy with regard to political power.
