Abstract

Some recent research calls for a project-based view of strategy. The aim of this article is to federate the project-based view. The paper is structured into three parts. In the first part, we introduce and structure the key concepts identified by our review of the literature. Next, we evaluate the different insights with the axioms from Rumelt et al. (1994) and from Fréry (2005, 2006). In the last part, we deal with the positioning of the project-based view of strategy in the field of strategy and propose a re-search agenda.
