Abstract

La guerre et l'économie se présentent parfois comme des produits joints. La guerre et sa préparation constituent historiquement des facteurs de développement, la guerre est un instrument de puissance économique, parfois nécessaire au système économico-politique lui-même, mises au service des économies nationales avec le principe du "beggar thy neighbor". Cependant, la guerre constitue aussi un fardeau économique pour son coût en hommes et matériels, ses détours de production, ses combats inutiles.
