Abstract

Objectif de la communication : Notre société s'appuie de manière croissante sur l'exploitation de ressources minières à l'origine de nombreuses externalités négatives aux niveaux environnemental et social. Face à ces enjeux de durabilité, comment mettre en place un approvisionnement responsable en minerais dans le secteur de l'électronique grand public? Le présent article vise à : (1) Analyser les enjeux de toutes sortes associés à l'extraction de ces ressources minières essentielles à la production de composants électroniques entrant dans la fabrication des téléphones portables ; (2) Mettre en évidence les apports de la littérature en management stratégique et supply chain management (SCM) durable pour l'industrie minière ; (3) Étudier des solutions existantes dans le contexte particulier de l'électronique grand public en prenant le point de vue des constructeurs.
