Abstract

We study the impact of new information about the purely public benefits of purchasing environmentally-friendly food products willingness to pay, is an experimental setting. We ellicit reservation values for two products (a conventional and an environmental-friendly orange juice) using the Becker-DeGroot-Marshak procedure. We seek to disentangle private from public motivations by using two methods.
