Abstract

This article focuses on the representations of the job market and job searches that are encountered when attending recruitment fairs. It is based on several observations (interactions and conferences) as well as interviews conducted with all the actors of these fairs (organizers, companies, candidates, and intermediaries). These representations are for the most part dissonant and reveal the obstacles to direct access to employment.
