Abstract

This editorial preface is organized into three sections. In the first section, we discuss the shift of the theoretical focus from collaboration in service production to collaboration in service innovation, in the perspective of value creation. In section two we present the different contributions to this special issue. The article concludes with a discussion of some possible new avenues of research on multi-actor value creation for service innovation.
