Abstract

la norme de management de la qualité ISO 9001 est un outil d'aide aux organisations pour piloter la satisfaction du client et l'amélioration continue. Cette amélioration est essentielle dans les organisations de soins et de santé tant elles sont soumises à des exigences accrues de qualité des soins et de maîtrise des coûts. Malgré la littérature abondante sur le sujet, les conséquences de la perception de la norme ISO 9001 par les salariés opérationnels sont mal connues. L'article explore au moyen d'entretiens et de cartes cognitives, les déterminants de la perception de la norme ISO 9001 et ses conséquences sur les attitudes au travail. La recherche est menée dans le service stérilisation d'un hôpital pluridisciplinaire français. L'étude révèle des interprétations différentes de la norme ISO 9001. Les résultats montrent que les différentes catégories de salariés perçoivent favorablement la norme et que des attitudes positives au travail en résultent. Les résultats éclairent le management sur la façon dont les opérationnels perçoivent la norme ISO 9001.
