Abstract

Est-il juste de défiscaliser les heures de travail supplémentaires ? La recherche d'indicateurs de bien-être social alternatifs au produit intérieur brut est-elle influencée par la pensée de John Rawls ? Ce dossier est consacré à l'analyse de l'idéal égalitaire de John Rawls compris dans sa dimension institutionnelle ou politique. Dans l'un de ses plus célèbres articles, rendu ici accessible en français, John Rawls clarifiait sa conception sur la mesure des inégalités et sur sa signification philosophique. Les auteurs qui contribuent à ce volume - économistes, sociologues et philosophes - évaluent l'actualité et l'usage institutionnel de cette conception de l'égalité.
