Abstract

La professionnalisation est l'objet de nombreux débats tant dans les milieux du travail que ceux de la formation. Pour mieux comprendre ce que recouvre ce vocable, nous proposons, dans un premier temps, de présenter et analyser les enjeux sociaux qui entourent cette notion, puis, dans un deuxième temps, d'identifier les principaux sens repérables au travers des pratiques sociales dont il fait l'objet. Dans un troisième temps, nous présenterons une définition ainsi qu'une grille d'analyse des voies de la professionnalisation susceptible de penser à la fois les dispositifs proposés ; les transformations opérées chez les individus au fil de leur activité ; les cultures de travail, de formation, de recherche et les logiques de professionnalisation conjointes ou séparées des individus, des activités et des organisations.
