Abstract

This article offers an analysis of the impact of intangible capital (IC) on the performance of singular hospital organizations, the Mobile Geriatric Teams (MGTs). The presented results are based on an intervention research conducted with the MGTs, hospitals and medicosocial institutions of the Midi-Pyrénées region. It led to the proposal of an evaluation model based on both the BSC and the Skandia Navigator, which analyzes the effects of IC on four dimensions of performance of MGTs. It also takes into account the intrinsic value of their IC, that is to say, the development of geriatric knowledge and skills for the MGTs, their partners and the hospital.
