Abstract

En 2016, la ville de Paris a décidé de fermer totalement à la circulation automobile un tronçon de la voie sur berges "Georges-Pompidou". Cette note décrit les effets de cette décision sur les conditions de circulation sur le boulevard périphérique. La fermeture de la voie sur berges a augmenté le taux d'occupation, la probabilité de congestion et les temps de trajet sur les voies vers l'Est, en particulier pour le périphérique sud. Comme les abords du périphérique sont plus densément peuplés que les abords de la Seine, il est possible que l'effet net de cette fermeture sur le nombre de résidents exposés à un air plus pollué ait été négatif.
