A Multivariate Study of the EU Economy via Financial Statement Analysis

Abstract

Up to what point do financial statements of firms reflect changes in the Economy? We adress this question using European Union data. European countries have a service, normally under the name of Central Balance Sheet Office, charged with the collection and aggregation of financial information from commercial firms.
