Abstract

Les auteurs d'etudes empiriques anterieures sur la croissance de la productivite ne sont pas parvenus a determiner les causes du ralentissement observe depuis 1973. Notre etude vise a jeter un meilleur eclairage sur les causes de ce ralentissement par une estimation des effets du progres technique integres au capital (l'effet de generation) sur la croissance de la productivite au Canada. Plus precisement, nous analysons les effets possibles de trois grands facteurs.
