Ethique des affaires : entre action de bienfaisance et action commerciale

Abstract

Ethique et affaires, action de bienfaisance et action commerciale, des concepts dont l’association paraît antinomique. L’objet de l’éthique est la morale, son but élaborer des règles de conduite en société. Dans les affaires et en entreprise, c’est la recherche du profit maximum, la compétitivité,... sans état d’âme, ni de morale et de charité. Les actions commerciales sont opposées aux actions de bienfaisance. Un discours éthique qui chercherait à concilier les deux, serait un effet de mode ou une hypocrisie. Cet article démontre le contraire. Partant de trois entrepreneurs et leur gestion qui intègre l’éthique avec succès, et s’appuyant sur quelques auteurs, l’article montre que l’éthique donne aux affaires et à l’entreprise de perdurer, et leur procure de la valeur ajoutée en conciliant actions de bienveillance et actions commerciales.
