El comercio de bienes y servicios en Centroamérica, 2014

Abstract

Este documento, de carácter anual, tiene como finalidad mostrar el dinamismo del comercio de la subregión centroamericana. Incluye los países de Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua y Panamá y se divide en cuatro capítulos. En el primero se presentan aspectos generales económicos y sociales que caracterizan a la región. En el capítulo II se hace un análisis de la evolución del comercio internacional centroamericano en los últimos 10 años (2004-2013) y un análisis de la competitividad de mercados y productos durante 2009-2013. Asimismo, se detallan los avances más recientes en materia de negociaciones comerciales internacionales. En el tercer capítulo se examina la evolución del comercio de bienes en el mercado intrarregional centroamericano, elaborando también un análisis de competitividad en los mercados y productos, e identificado los bienes con mayor potencial comercial. Finalmente, en el capítulo IV se realiza un resumen de la evolución del comercio de servicios, así como un estudio competitivo de estos.
