Relación entre contratos laborales y financieros: un estudio teórico y empírico para el caso español

Abstract

Este trabajo aborda, en primer lugar, la modelización de manera integrada de las duraciones de los contratos laborales y financieros, y predice la existencia de una correlación positiva entre ambas. En segundo lugar, se comprueban de forma satisfactoria las predicciones del modelo teórico utilizando una muestra de empresas manufactureras de la Central de Balances del Banco de España correspondiente al período 1983-95. Este período es especialmente relevante puesto que en él se han producido dos reformas laborales (1984, 1993-94) para incentivar la contratación a corto plazo.
