Entrevista a Orlando Ariza, rector de la institución educativa Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Villa Garzón, Putumayo

Abstract

En la segunda entrega de Apuntes de Gestión y Políticas Públicas, Sandra García Jaramillo, profesora de la Escuela de Gobierno, invitó a Orlando Ariza, rector de la institución educativa Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Villa Garzón, Putumayo, y ganador del premio al mejor rector de la Fundación Compartir 2019, quien está implementando, durante la pandemia, un esquema de educación a distancia que puede ser referente para muchos colegios y sistemas educativos en todo el país. Orlando Ariza nació en San José de Suaita, Santander. Es licenciado en Educación Popular. Especialista en Informática y Telemática. Tecnólogo en Programación y Sistemas. La institución que lidera ha sido reconocida, junto con todo su equipo directivo, docente y administrativo, como una de las mejores del departamento. En la entrevista se comparten algunas experiencias del rector, los profesores de la institución, los estudiantes y padres de familia, los retos que han enfrentado debido a la pandemia y la manera en que los han abordado, teniendo en cuenta el contexto y los recursos disponibles. Esperamos que sean de utilidad en este momento de crisis. La entrevista fue realizada, a través de medios virtuales, en abril de 2020.
