El manejo social del riesgo y de las vulnerabilidades de los hogares en Colombia

Abstract

“Es una investigación de manejo del riesgo donde se analizan las percepciones de riesgo y las vulnerabilidades de la población urbana y rural. Cubre desde estratos socioeconómicos pobres hasta la clase media. Ha puesto especial énfasis en analizar aquellos grupos cuya exposición al riesgo ha aumentado por haber estado vinculados a sectores que han entrado en crisis, tales como la construcción. Refleja la multi-dimensionalidad de la crisis en Colombia mostrando cómo los aspectos de corte político son causa y efecto de la crisis económica y viceversa y los hogares entran en procesos de vulnerabilidades sociales acumuladas. Identifica las principales estrategias legales e ilegales usadas por los hogares que tienden a fomentar el círculo de vulnerabilidades sociales acumuladas.”
