Colombia y el TLC: Efectos sobre la Distribución del Ingreso y la Pobreza

Abstract

El presente documento busca simular los efectos del Tratado de Libre Comercio entre Colombia y Estados Unidos sobre la desigualdad y la pobreza. Con este objetivo, se desarrolla un modelo de microsimulación ligado a un modelo de equilibrio general computable. Las simulaciones muestran una leve mejoría en los indicadores de pobreza sin que exista un deterioro en la distribución del ingreso
