Abstract

The article presents the results of a comparative assessment of the level of socio-economic development of municipalities in the Far Eastern subjects of the Russian Federation within the framework of a macroregion without considering regional affiliation. On their basis, 215 municipalities (municipal and urban districts) are grouped into three blocks: leading territories, catch-up development territories and lagging (problem) territories. The analysis of the territorial neighborhood of different types of municipalities was conducted.
