Pricing Model and Influential Factors Analysis of Drug Trade Service Platform

Abstract

This paper analyzes that pricing model and influential factors of drug trade service platform based on the theory of two-sided markets. And it discusses the pricing issues from two cases of monopoly and competition. The result shows that the main factors affect the pricing model, including the level of market competition, the cross-side network effects between buyers and sellers, the positive same-side network effect among buyers, the negative same-side network effect among sellers and the marketing differentiation strategy of platforms.
