Abstract

The unifying aim of this book has been to present an overview of the history and development of the international market for syndicated loans and to study the microstructure of this market in industrial and developing countries, with specific attention to investigating the determinants of loan pricing. Overall, this book makes several contributions to the knowledge on bond and loan pricing and bank market structure.
