Abstract

Comparative management continues to be an area calling for exploration. In fact, authors who advance the view that manage­ment is culture-bound have been contradicted by both the defendants of the ‘universal’ approach to management — implying the cross-border transferability of management principles — and the defendants of the ‘individualistic’ approach implying that management basically is a personal matter.
