Abstract

En este capítulo se estima la productividad total de los factores (PTF) para la economía peruana en el período 2003-2012 por los métodos primal y dual. Según el método primal, procedimiento que utiliza al residuo de Solow como indicador de la productividad, la PTF creció a una tasa promedio anual de 1.6% en el período en consideración; esta estimación considera ajustes en los factores de producción por cambios en el uso y en la calidad de estos. Según el método dual, cálculo que considera estimados de las productividades marginales de los factores de producción, la PTF creció a una tasa promedio anual de 1.7%.
