Abstract

Nowadays, the educational system works within the boundaries set by a centralized organization which is hindering change, does not encourage innovation and its efficient implementation. Most of the obstacles for reform are caused by this structural and cultural paradigm, which is related to mechanist and bureaucratic system; this situation needs to change also in the direction of improving relationships and roles, for the purpose of creating an open and favourable climate, which facilitates theinvolvement and participation of staff, the management style and practices, communication, freedom of speech, conflict management as element of progress, reward and recognition for success. Important results in management can be achieved through creating an informational system perfectly harmonized with the organizational structure, through rigorous analyses of the educational process, coordination and alignment of the management actions, in order to achieve the anticipated objectives.
