Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio es presentar una revisión y una síntesis de esta literatura, con énfasis en el impacto de Juntos en salud, nutrición, educación y trabajo infantil. Los hallazgos de la literatura se pueden resumir de la siguiente manera: a) el programa ha tenido un impacto sobre las condicionalidades y el gasto en alimentos y en educación; b) ha tenido un impacto positivo sobre el estado nutricional, fundamentalmente en la reducción de la desnutrición crónica severa, pero hay factores que inciden en este impacto, incluyendo la edad de la primera exposición; c) no ha tenido impacto sobre los aprendizajes; d) finalmente, se encuentran efectos sobre el trabajo infantil, no siempre de la naturaleza deseada. A partir de estos resultados, se genera una serie de recomendaciones —particularmente relacionadas con la articulación con otros programas del Estado— y se dan sugerencias para futuras evaluaciones.
