Branchenanalyse Elektrowerkzeuge: Entwicklungstrends und Herausforderungen

Abstract

Die Elektrowerkzeugindustrie gehört zu den Branchen in Deutschland, in denen neben einzelnen Global Playern auch kleine und mittlere Unternehmen mit hochwertigen und innovativen Produkten weltweite Bedeutung erlangt haben. Der Strukturwandel führt aber dazu, dass sich die Wertschöpfung zunehmend nach Asien verlagert. Eine der großen Herausforderungen für die Elektrowerkzeug- Branche liegt in der Akku-Technologie. Da die Lithium-Ionen-Zellen vor allem von asiatischen Konzernen produziert werden, reduziert sich die heimische Wertschöpfungstiefe. Um die Beschäftigung in Deutschland zu sichern, kommt es darauf an, dass die deutschen Hersteller nicht nur die Entwicklung, sondern auch die Produktion von Akkupacks und bürstenlosen EC-Motoren stärken, ihre Vorteile bei der Integration zum komplexen Werkzeug ausspielen und somit inländische Wertschöpfung generieren.
