Gerencia estratégica de la inversión social

Abstract

El gerente social es aquella persona que, a través de la gestión de los programas sociales o de la inversión social, contribuye significativamente al alivio y reducción de la pobreza. Para ello, tiene que poner en práctica los cuatro criterios fundamentales de la gerencia social: eficiencia, eficacia, equidad y transparencia. El libro pretende estimular al lector a mejorar sus criterios y adquirir herramientas para ser un mejor agente de cambio social. Aquel que está tanto en el sector público como en el privado, encontrará una fuente de información y reflexión sobre cuáles han sido los aciertos y errores del pasado. Sobre la base de estas experiencias, se ha podido extraer útiles lecciones de gerencia que, cuando puedan ser implementadas, se espera que generen el cambio al que todos aspiramos.
